Champion’s Edge Agreement

and
Lois Arterberry, Univ. of Minnesota Tennis 516 15th Ave. SE, Minneapolis, MN 55455 loisa@umn.edu (612)357-5864 ("Consultant”)
This Agreement is entered into on the date the contract is signed between Becky Beaulieu, operating as Championship Culture Coach LLC (“Owner”), and Lois Arterberry ("Consultant") .
WHEREAS, Owner is engaged in the provision of consulting services specializing in culture coaching and mental performance coaching; and
WHEREAS, Owner is interested in hiring the Consultant to co-facilitate the Champion’s Edge Confidence and Performance Clinic on March 16, 2025 1:00-4:00pm at Baseline on the University of Minnesota Campus. Both parties agree to be present 30 minutes prior to the start of the clinic and for the duration of the clinic.
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual promises and covenants contained herein, and other good and valuable consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which are hereby acknowledged, the parties hereto agree as follows:
DETAILS OF WORK
1.1 . The Consultant will lead the clinic for 1.5 hours on March 16th, 2025. She agrees to co-collaborate on 2 social media posts regarding the Champion’s Edge Clinic. The Owner and her staff will do the work for this and the consultant agrees to post 2 IG stories with the link to book and 2 posts. The Consultant will share the post about time and location of the clinics on Facebook, Instagram, and X. The consultant also agrees to share the clinic post to U of M Tennis social media (if possible). Lastly, the consultant agrees to send two on court pictures to use for the website/flyer.
1.2 The consultant and owner agree to serve the athletes registered for the clinic to the best of their ability. Best practices in the industry will be used and we agree to teach confidence, overcoming fear, comparison, creating a failure recovery plan, and focusing on what’s in their control. The consultant and owner agree that U of M tennis players are welcome to attend the Champion’s Edge Clinic at no cost.
2.PAYMENT
2.1 Payment Terms: The Owner will pay the Consultant $1,500 for speaking at the Champion’s Edge Confidence Clinic including her time sending two emails to all juniors that play or have played at baseline. If two emails are sent to baseline juniors and documentation is sent to Championship Culture Coach LLC, an additional payment of $500 will be made. If U of M Tennis Camp participants and/or Nike are able to send 2 emails and promote the Champion’s Edge Clinic, an additional payment of $100 will be made for a total of $2100.
2.2 Method of Payment: Payment shall be paid to Consultant via check within 7 days of the clinic.
3. TERM AND TERMINATION
3.1 Term: This Agreement shall commence on the Effective Date and shall continue in full force and effect until terminated by either party or the work is completed in accordance with the provisions herein.
3.2 Termination: Either party may terminate this Agreement upon written notice to the other party. The contract may not be terminated after the website is live for registrations of the Champion’s Edge Clinics.
3.3 If 30 or less participants sign up for the clinic, we’ll only need Lois as the 2nd speaker. If 31+ participants are registered for the clinic, Lois, Ana, and Becky will all serve and pour into the tennis players.
4. MISCELLANEOUS
4.1 Entire Agreement: This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding and agreement between the parties with respect to the subject matter hereof and supersedes all prior agreements, negotiations, and understandings, whether written or oral, between the parties.
4.2 Governing Law: This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Wisconsin.
